Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS)
This downloadable activity was developed for kids In grades K-4, but is a fun book for all ages. It aims to teach kids about JPSS polar-orbiting satellites with the help of the JPSS mascot, JP the Super Seal, who shares a story about what he does daily.

A downloadable activity where students are instructed to create Earth's changing greenery with paint dots. The green paint represents trees, while the blue and tan paint represents the ocean and a lack of vegetation that JPSS satellites may observe in North America during each season.

In this activity, teachers can download and cut out several puzzles of the great lakes in each season: spring, summer, winter and fall, for their class to complete.
Created a JPSS-2 Launch bingo card that audience members could download and complete based on the NASA Live TV broadcast for the launch in November, 2022.
During the launch campaign, I also created an activity called “Choose your own Invention,” which was a worksheet for educators to share with their class, encouraging students to design their own invention that protects Earth and monitors its weather. A video was published on JPSS satellite social media channels that spotlighted the drawings of the winners.
